Workshops

Our workshops provide an opportunity to learn about managing allergies and to connect with other people and families going through similar experiences. Our two most popular workshop topics are 'Newly Diagnosed' and 'Starting School'.

Thursday 11 July (9am-10am) – ASH Creative Kids Workshop for 4-6 Year Olds

We've partnered with the Creative Kids Art Club to host complimentary school holiday workshops tailored for kids!

If your 4-6 year-old is excited to connect with other allergy-aware kids and enjoy a morning of crafting and conversation, make sure to reserve their spot today. During this session they will be use printmaking techniques to create a beach-themed wooden key hanging board that they can take home with them.

ASH facilitators Samedy and Monique will be part of the excitement, guiding discussions about life with allergies.

Eligibility: For children who have a diagnosed allergy and prescribed EpiPen/Anapen.

Venue: Holyrood Pavilion in Leederville, 8 Holyrood St, West Leederville

We've partnered with the Creative Kids Art Club to host complimentary school holiday workshops tailored for kids!

If your 7-12 year-old is excited to connect with other allergy-aware kids and enjoy a morning of crafting and conversation, make sure to reserve their spot today. The kids will get to take a walk on the wild side and create a stunning Jaguar pencil drawing inspired by contemporary artist Eric Abel.

Thursday 1 August (7:30pm-9:30pm) – Allergy Journey: A Workshop for Newly Diagnosed Families

Join our free workshop for parents of children recently diagnosed with food allergies or who have experienced an anaphylactic reaction. Connect with other families living with food allergies and gain practical advice and support.

Topics include coping with post-diagnosis emotions, recognising anaphylaxis signs and symptoms, safe allergy management at home and dining out, reading food labels, effective communication strategies, and much more.
